Personal space

Cocktails are the standard menu, while sparkling wine is available upon request. Alcoholic beverages are available for pickup at the outdoor sports bar and can be consumed anywhere in the Golden Lounge.

There are many seating sections in the roomy Malaysia Airlines Satellite Golden Lounge to accommodate a variety of visitors. It's a good idea to sit in the middle of the room if you want to socialize with other single travellers and strangers.

You can, however, decide to sit in any of the small alcoves along the side if you'd rather have a bit more seclusion. There is seating for all kinds of travellers in the lounge, and I particularly like the plenty of private space available as it's becoming more and more difficult to locate in this day and age.

Good buffet

There's a good buffet at the Golden Lounge. There are other chairs in the lounge's back, but this spot is unattractive and has no view, so I doubt that anyone would choose to sit here unless they were attending a crucial business meeting or something.

As of 2016, every Malaysia Airlines Golden Lounge in Kuala Lumpur has a dedicated laksa bar. This is the ideal chance to try the different regional Laksa variations. The Laksa bar has a very unique, albeit somewhat more conventional, aesthetic.

The male and female guest pay rooms and facilities are located near the other side of the Golden Lounge KLIA. In case you need them, shower facilities are also available. A coffee barista serves made-to-order coffee in the lounge as well.

Aviation enthusiasts can enjoy a little plane-watching at the Golden Lounge at KLIA, which offers comfortable lounging areas featuring lots of ambient light and a great view of the tarmac once they've finished their supper and beverages.

Kids Play area and small family area

For parents with young children, there is a play area and a small family area at the rear of the lounge. The area is simple, with a tiny TV that plays family-friendly programming, but it looks good with the rest of the room. In short, KLIA's Golden Lounge offers a comfortable and relaxing setting for guests of all ages. Whether you want to keep the kids entertained or just kick back with a drink and some freshly roasted coffee, this lounge has something to offer everyone.
